17 Jun How do I learn to love myself?
I had someone ask me this question recently. Good question. In Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we would would do this in several ways. We need to be mindful of self-judgments/invalidation and practice self-validation. We can practice loving kindness and several self-compassion exercises of a DBT friendly theory, called Mindfulness-Based Self Compassion.
