Multitasking is Ineffective…..

 

The truth is that we can only do one thing at a time effectively. I can drive while talking on the phone, but I am more likely to miss something in the event (regardless of hands free). There are effective ways of scheduling tasks one-mindfully. In DBT, one of the skills in the core module of mindfulness is “one-mindfully.” This means to do focus your mind and attention on one task rather then multiple task with divided attention among them.
